4M All Riders Newsletter: July 2021

Welcome back to the All Riders monthly newsletter brought to you straight from the Matt Cave!

This is "4M: The Matt Cave Moto Monthly Mailer".

Holy crap, it is July already?!

I'd like to thank the venerable old "Route Master", Chuck "Magnum" Boehm for adopting my ride and leading yet another for the All Riders crew on the Father's Day Ride this past June 19th. I would also like to thank all of the All Riders who showed up to make it a successful, memorable 4th annual installation of said ride. Also, thanks to "Barracuda Bill" Upchurch for debuting his photography skills in a big way, and as always to veteran photographer and All Riders creative heavy: Will Yum (the one and only).

Some shots from the 4th Annual Father's Day Ride:

1) The infamous 'Route Master" Chuck "Magnum" Boehm in his natural habitat.

2) The Subliimely Superfluous "Will Yum" preparing to ingest bacon products while talking about NOT washing his bike.

3) "The Offspring". Mysterious and beautiful, but likely highly dangerous. Proceed with caution.

4) Carl Barret Jr., All Riders wordsmith, and motorcycle maven. Careful, he may be wearing Deadpool underwear.

5) Tai... mother of the Offspring, most gregarious of ALL the All Riders, and Illuminator of Everyone's Day.

6) Joseph... not as awesome as Tai or the Offspring, but he scores a solid 3rd place. Come-on, that's respectable. Look... you aren't even on this list, so why so smug?

7) Some other guy.

1) The "Cuda", "Barracuda" Bill Upchurch displaying his pearly whites. Yes, this posture is at its core the crux of a mating ritual, but given the quantity of spurned advances, Bill now uses it just for pictures.

2) The "All Weather" All Rider: Rich Clancy. The most "showing-up-est" of all would-be Ride to Nowhere riders, he even shows up more than Chuck.

1) Dave... or is it David? David is a cool dude, All Rider, and Daytona Biker Church patron. David likes bikes. We like David.

2) Jim "Preach" Terry. All Rider and Biker Church Boss Man... Jim also happens to be the winner of the Viking Bags Axe Series Backpack and Bugslide Kit. Way to go, Jim.

3) Beautiful Barbara Terry... nothing more to see here but smiles, smiles, smiles. This one is simply a breath of fresh air... Always good to see Barb.

4) Jeff "Cooz" Cusey... VP of the All Riders International Motorcyclist Community. He's the one who's always telling people that they have a nice ass.

The H2 Ownes Meet:

You may or may not know, but I missed the 4th Annual Father's Day Ride so that I could be present in Atlanta for the Kawasaki Ninja H2 Owner's Meet. I actually designed all of the promotional material for the meet, so I thought I should go. I also happen to be an owner myself, having received my 2021 Kawasaki Ninja H2 this past May.

Chris "Freaking" Earl and I trailered our bikes up to Atlanta (Chris rides a Kawasaki Z1000, so at least he's green), stayed with an old friend of Chris's, (whose name is also Chris), and joined in the festivities. The meet was pretty crazy, with all kinds of stretched-out, "carbon fibered", massive horsepower-making H2s attending. 650ib and a few other Youtube personalities were present. You can watch 650ib's coverage of the event below, as well as my coverage of his coverage of the Best Looking or Cleanest H2 competition. Unfortunately, we got some rain on Saturday, so the event was a little bit curtailed. Check out some pics and video of the event below.

But first, our illustrious host: Chris Wangle. On a mission to obtain a couple of Fosters "Oil Cans".

The All Riders Raffle Winners:

June brought us the conclusion of the latest All Riders Raffles. We managed to get our hands on a Cardo Communications Packtalk Bold with JBL speakers, and a Viking Bags Axe Series Backpack (with Bugslide Kit). Both items were generously donated to us by the respective companies. We officially thank Cardo Systems, Buglside, and Viking Bags right here, right now. Thanks, ya'll!

Jim Terry : Winner (I told ya didn't I) with his Viking Bags Axe Series Backpack (and Bugsldie Kit)

Chris Chorney: Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner! This guy scored the Cardo Packtalk Bold all the way from Connecticut. Must be nice... he also just happens to be the co-founder of the All RIders Connecticut Chapter.

Now that we've had enough of June...

July will bring us the third installment of the utterly unforgettable, "Sargeant of the Soap Box ", motorcycle product review rebel: Barracuda Bill with his Matt Cave Moto-Made Barracuda Bill Breaks it Down . Keep an eye out for Barracuda Bill Breaks it Down Episode 3 coming at you via Youtube and your inbox (if you subscribe below).

Here is what is happening in the month of July (so far):

1) First Fridays Bike Night: First Fridays returns on Friday, 7/2/21 with a reprise (by popular demand) of the Tomoka Brewing Co. location. I will be in New Jersey visiting family, so if you can't stand the sight of me, then this is the perfect First Fridays Bike Night to show up to.

4) Third Thursday Bike Night: Thursday, July 15h. As always, Third Thursdays Bike Night will be at Abbey Bar & Odd Elixir downtown Deland. Amazing staff, great beer, wine, mead, and some finger food to boot. We start at 7:00 pm.

You also get 10% off of your entire bill with your current ARMD membership card.

Check out Abbey Bar:

3) Dan's Full Moon Ride: The original All Riders night ride. July's ride is yet to be scheduled, but keep an eye out... we will be having one. Don't forget about our Calendar page to stay "in the know".
